THE LEARNING ENGINE

At The National Skills Academy for Manufacturing we have developed a tool called the Learning Engine, designed to help employers, learners and training providers work together to get the most out of training. This will ensure that every pound invested in it delivers a recognisable return. Adopting our method demands a fundamental shift in the way training is approached. Currently about 85% of training budgets are invested in the delivery of the courses themselves without thinking about the real needs of the employee or the impact on the business of a better skilled worker.
